What you should know about e-Core after 21 years in tech

e-Core completes 21 years of history

Founded in 1999, May is e-Core’s anniversary month. Our technology solutions combine people, tools, and processes, helping our customers’ companies solve business challenges.

We are very proud of our 21 years of achievements. In this article, you will learn a little about e-Core’s history and the five main pillars guiding its culture and daily work.

 

It all started with Java

Three Hewlett-Packard employees shared a single vision of creating a technology company grounded in core cultural values, managed by excellent organizational principles, and especially offering an inspiring work environment.

Leandro Pompermaier, Márcio Silveira, and Vinícius Pinheiro launched e-Core, initially as a Java training center.

Soon their way of work attracted larger customers like multinational agribusiness and food production company Bunge. Java training expanded into software development.

 

From Brazil to the world

Assuming an important role in an integration project for Bunge in 2004, e-Core started coordinating United States operations too. Achieving success, it marked e-Core’s first international experience.

In the same year, given the need to scale operations and optimize management of projects and development teams, e-Core started using Jira, Atlassian’s planning, tracking, and collaboration tool.

As e-Core rapidly and successfully expanded its software development footprint by improving its own internal processes, e-Core’s expertise using Jira sparked interest among customers and partners. Seeing an opportunity, e-Core started selling licenses for the tool, becoming an Atlassian partner in 2006.

Since then, e-Core has helped companies deliver better and faster technology solutions. Offering software development, expertise in business agility, and the authority of an Atlassian Platinum Solution Partner Enterprise, e-Core solves complex technological challenges at the speed that the market demands.

Today, e-Core’s more than 300 qualified professionals already served 250 clients in countries including Brazil, United States, Iceland, Japan, Australia, Germany, Portugal, Russia, and others.

The company operates in 25 market segments, having delivered more than 200 optimized projects, 2 million hours of technical support, and per year, 50,000 hours in Atlassian solutions.
