Priceline Enhances Customer Experience and Cuts Costs with App Modernization

Priceline is a leader in online travel and a subsidiary of Booking Holdings Inc., the world’s largest travel company. It operates alongside popular brands like Booking.com, KAYAK, and Open Table. The company is dedicated to providing seamless and user-friendly access to exceptional deals on hotel rooms, flights, rental cars, vacation packages, and cruises. 


The company had the great challenge of modernizing old and legacy applications that had more than 15 years of use. Upgrading those systems and moving them to the cloud along with their infrastructure were their biggest needs.


The challenge was accepted by e-Core, which, together with Google Cloud, signed a three-year partnership with Priceline. The work started in 2021 and even before the completion of the project, the results are reflected in an improvement in the customer experience and cost reduction.
