What to Expect During Our Hiring Process
The hiring process at e-Core is simple, effective and transparent. When you speak to our e-Coreans about their interview experience, most will tell you it felt more like a conversation than an interrogation about who they are and what they’ve done.
Whenever we have a new opportunity, our Talent Acquisition team meets with the Hiring Manager to understand the needs of our clients, our teams, tech stack, and the behavioral traits that will help a professional succeed here. Once we align on these expectations, your journey starts.
Our Process: Three Key Stages
Although the structure may change depending on the area or seniority of the position, our selection process consists of three main stages to ensure an excellent experience for everyone involved:
1. Talent Acquisition Interview
First, you will meet us. We want to get to know you, your professional experience and overall technical knowledge. Our conversations are focused on learning about your journey using the STAR methodology (Situation, Task, Action and Result).
Pro-tip: Instead of just saying "I'm good at problem-solving," use the STAR structure to tell a clear story, showing proof through a real-life example of the impact you achieved and what you learned.
2. Technical Team Meeting
Then you’ll meet with your future teammates. This is your opportunity to demonstrate technical expertise and, more importantly, understand what the day-to-day work really looks like at e-Core.
3. Leadership Stage
Finally, your future Manager will explore if your working style aligns with the team. Use real examples from your experience based on our company values:
- Build Trust: Are you transparent and comfortable with feedback?
- Deliver and Delight: Do you take ownership and go beyond the basic task?
- Lifelong Learning: Are you open to learning and improving from mistakes?
- Self-Start: Do you take initiative?
